According to the public relations office of Iranian Fisheries Science Research Institute, after the announcement of 2% of the world's top researchers according to the review and evaluation of data citations from the Scopus database, Dr. Seyyed Morteza Hosseini, faculty member and assistant professor at Golestan Inland Water Aquatics Stocks Research Center, was included in this list. Dr. Bahram Falahatkar, faculty member of the Department of Fisheries Engineering, Faculty of Natural Resources, Guilan University, and Dr. Seyyed Hossein Hosseinifar, faculty member of Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, and Dr. Massoud Rezaei, faculty member of Tarbiat Modares University are also on this list.
Criteria for evaluation and selection of these researchers based on six indicators and criteria was: Total citation, H-index, Coauthorship-adjusted H-index, Total citation to single authored papers, Total citation to single + first authored papers and Total citation to single + first + last authored papers.
