The ceremony was held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Dr. Nasrollah Zadeh, the head of the Caspian Sea Ecology Research Center, while commemorating the martyrs Rajaei and Bahonar, said: One of the policies of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute is to connect research institutes and research centers with the executive agencies and universities as well as the private sector, which was achieved in this project, i.e. the production of biosilage in the year of the jump in production. He pointed out that the project was carried out with the financial support of the Management and Planning Organization of Mazandaran Province and added: The requirements of the pilot project for the production of biosilage in three regions of the country are on the agenda of the institute in order to accelerate the production of this product and achieve its technical knowledge. Dr. Bahmani spoke about the effectiveness of this project in industry and for job creation using aquatic and poultry wastes in Mazandaran province and continued: This product has probiotics bacteria, high protein content with high digestibility, long shelf life, and simple production technology and is relatively inexpensive. Therefore, this product can compete with other similar products such as fish meal and meat powder. Mr. Hossein Zadegan stated: Due to the high price of fish meal, the introduction of new alternatives such as biosilage can significantly reduce the final price of farmed fish and thus increase per capita consumption of fish in the country. He emphasized: The private companies should trust such products and use new technical knowledge and technologies and invest in this regard. In the end, Dr. Safari, the project executor, stated that the objectives of this project are to make optimal use of aquatic and poultry wastes and reduce their environmental consequences, as well as to introduce new alternatives to fish meal in aquaculture diets. According to this report, the technical knowledge of biosilage production can be applied industrially. Since this product has economic justification, high profitability and waste management capabilities, it can be considered as one of the most important projects for the jump in production. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Hossein Zadegan, the governor - general of Mazandaran province, Mr. Zarei, the representative of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Dr. Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, Mr. Shahidifar, the head of the Organization of Agriculture – Jahad of the province, Dr. Ishaqi, the general manager of the Mazandaran Department of Fisheries, Dr. Rezvani, the general manager of the Veterinary Directorate General of Mazandaran province, Hujjat al - Islam Fallah and Hujjat al - Islam Hajipour, the heads of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Offices at the Organization of Agriculture - Jahad, Mr. Rezaei, the governor of Sari, Dr. Ramezan Pour, the head of the Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Training Center of Mazandaran, and the CEOs of private companies (Giah Caspian Mazand Company and Sadaf Mahi Company) as well as other provincial and city officials participated at the unveiling ceremony of the pilot project for the preparation of biosilage from aquatic and poultry wastes.
