The seventh meeting of the Golestan monitoring committee for the release of juvenile fish was held in the meeting hall of the Golestan Department of Fisheries in the presence of the deputy director for fishing and capture fisheries of the Department of Fisheries, the deputy director for research of the Inland Waters Aquatic Stocks Research Center - Gorgan, the heads of the rebuilding aquatic resources centers, the representative of the security office and the representative of the division for conservation of aquatic resources as well as other members of the committee. After reviewing the approvals of the previous meeting, all of which were implemented, a report was submitted by the experts of the Si Joval Center with the cooperation of the representative of the center regarding the evaluation of suitable places for the direct release of fish juveniles. In this regard, the Bandar Torkaman wharf and the Bandar Gaz wharf were suggested to the Si Joval Center. It was decided to revisit the basic facilities and determine the possible costs. Explaining the initial studies on the possibility of direct release of juvenile fish into the sea, the deputy director for research of the Inland Waters Aquatic Stocks Research Center noted that given the climate of the region and the experience of experts, direct release is a necessary step that must be taken. However, it is necessary to prepare a comprehensive plan for next year by estimating the required credit and considering the importance of the participation of the exploiting community in this regard. It was also decided to investigate the situation of fish juveniles released from the release site to the estuary in Qarah su and Gorganrood River with the cooperation of the above mentioned center during the next week through sampling in at least two areas between the release site and the estuary and within the estuarine boundaries and submit that research report to the committee.
