The meeting was held in the presence of Dr. Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute. First, Dr. Borani, the head of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, presented a report on the research and financial performance of the research institute this year. He explained future research plans based on the priorities announced by the research institute. The deputies of this research institute and the managers of the specialized departments raised the problems related to their field. In addition to explaining the expectations of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute from the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, Dr. Bahmani provided explanations on the issues raised. He provided solutions and guidelines for the development of scientific and extension activities of the research institute. In a decree issued by him, Mr. Takrimi was appointed as the advisor to the head of the institute in recreating, dynamizing and activating the National Fish Processing Research Center and orienting the research achievements of the institute and its affiliated centers in the direction of creating an ecosystem of innovation, technology and commercialization. Dr. Bahmani also visited the Gilan ship. He was informed about the process of preparing it for the naval mission and sampling from different areas. During this visit, while talking with the commander and personnel of the Gilan ship, he was informed about the existing issues and problems, and the necessary instructions were provided by the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute for sea patrols.
