In order to expand cooperation between the Agricultural Services Specialized Holding Company and the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and in order to comprehensive development and synergy of capabilities and facilities and to benefit from the capacities available to the parties, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the location of the Agricultural Services Specialized Holding Company by Dr. Mojabi, the CEO of the company, and Dr. Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute. The Memorandum of Understanding emphasized on research and extension cooperation and benefiting from the existing facilities and capacities of the parties in the fields of joint work and holding joint training and professional workshops. Also, by forming a cooperation committee consisting of representatives nominated by the company and the institute, the parties undertook for two years that the work plan be submitted to the CEO and the director of the institute for approval and notification before the beginning of each year, taking into account the priority of the needs contained in the subject of the Memorandum of Understanding. Research cooperation in the form of implementation of joint research projects approved by the parties, active participation of the parties in attracting investors to reactivate and improve productivity at the National Fish Processing Research Center - Bandar-e Anzali, benefiting from the facilities and capacities of the parties in various fields of joint work, holding workshops, holding joint scientific meetings as well as transferring scientific, research and fisheries extension information and other issues agreed upon by the parties are among the most important goals of the Memorandum of Understanding.
