In order to carry out the production assistants plan and to achieve the jump in production with the approach of solving the problems of shrimp farmers and exploiters in the shrimp farms at the Gomishan shrimp farming site in Golestan province, a group of certain researchers and the expert as well as the aquatic animal health and diseases officer from the Inland Waters Aquatic Stocks Research Center - Gorgan, along with the expert and regional promoters from the agricultural extension management of the Organization of Agriculture - Jahad - Golestan visited the Gomishan shrimp farming site. In this visit, the status of transferred postlarvae, stocking time, physicochemical factors of water, type of feed used for feeding shrimp, feeding rate, stocking density, transparency and quality of pond water as well as problems such as temperature fluctuations, weather in the past month and the presence of the white spot disease was also discussed. In this regard, recommendations to improve shrimp farming conditions were provided by the visitors.
