Following the plans made by the Provincial Committee regarding the implementation of the Production Assistants Plan, dated July 8, 2020, and following the previous measures taken by the experts in order to solve production problems in the aquaculture sector, the research board of the department of aquatic animal health and diseases of the Iranian Artemia Research Center along with the representatives from the Department of Fisheries and the fisheries extension office of the Organization of Agriculture - Jahad of West Azerbaijan Province as well as the Veterinary Directorate General of the province visited the farm with the production capacity of 10 tons of farmed rainbow trout in the Noshin Shahr, Urmia County, to evaluate the effectiveness of the performance of experts in production assistants plan. It should be noted that this farm lost at least 160 fish a day about a month ago due to feeding and health management problems and the occurrence of the disease. With the measures taken by the production assistants of the Iranian Artemia Research Center, the health status of the fish has returned to normal in less than 15 days. In addition to stopping fish losses, the measures taken significantly improved the growth status of fish and improved the level of feeding and health management on the farm. In this field study, the representatives of the executive bodies observed and confirmed the results. In this action, which was carried out by the production assistants, the daily casualties of 50 kg of fish worth 15 million Rials in the province were prevented.
