In order to strengthen the research cooperation of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the International Sturgeon Research Institute, Dr. Sayad Borani, the head of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, along with Dr. Ghasemi, the deputy director of research and technology, and Mr. Hossein Jani, the deputy director of fisheries extension of the research institute, visited the International Sturgeon Research Institute on Saturday, June 27, 2020. A joint meeting was held with the head, deputies and heads of specialized departments of the institute, and they visited the ongoing activities and projects of the International Sturgeon Research Institute. At the meeting, Dr. Shenavar, the head of the International Sturgeon Research Institute, and Dr. Sayad Borani presented reports on the activities, achievements as well as the facilities and capabilities of the two institutes. They said that given the specialized and expert capabilities of the two institutes, further collaborative research could lead to more effective practical results in the field of aquaculture in the province and in the country and thus promote the industry. At the end, it was decided to prepare and sign a memorandum of cooperation at the specialized meeting in the presence of the deputies and heads of the specialized departments of the two institutes.
