Hujjat al - Islam Vahidi Nejad, the representative of the Supreme Leader at the Organization of Agriculture - Jahad - Gilan and the accompanying delegation visited the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Hujjat al - Islam Haghshenas, the head of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office in the higher education institutes and research centers of the Organization of Agriculture - Jahad of the province, and Hujjat al - Islam Mollarudi, the head of the Supreme Leader’s Representative Office in the Gilan Department of Fisheries, accompanied him on this visit. During the meeting with a group of managers and researchers of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, Hujjat al - Islam Vahidi Nejad got acquainted with the scientific and research activities of the research institute. At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Sayad Borani, the head of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, presented a report on the history, facilities and research achievements and pointed out some areas of work that required the participation of the religious authorities with the researchers in the field of fisheries sciences. Hujjat al - Islam Vahidi Nejad considered the activities carried out positive and promising. He advised the continuation of such meetings and the formation of joint working groups between the religious authorities and the researchers in the field of fisheries sciences. The representative of the Supreme Leader at the Organization of Agriculture - Jahad - Gilan emphasized the positive effects of such cooperation and cited some evidence in this regard.
