In order to promote the joint project with the Khuzestan Department of Fisheries with the title of "Using unconventional waters in aquaculture" and following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center and the Khorramshahr Moein Bonyad Institute on June 20, 2020, the total number of 5,000 Asian sea bass juveniles with the average weight of 60 grams was transferred from the Ramooz Fish Farming Company in the Bushehr province to the ponds of the Khorramshahr Moein Bonyad Institute, after obtaining health certificate from the Iran Veterinary Organization. After the transfer of the fish, the temperature adaptation operation and biometrics were carried out under the supervision of the aquaculture expert. In order to raise fish for 5 months, the juvenile fish were stocked in the ponds. It is worth mentioning that the water entering the above mentioned ponds is the result of sugarcane effluent of the Amir Kabir Sugar Cane Cultivation and Industry.
