Therefore, in addition to oil production and despite the existing economic problems, we can use this platform to generate income. Dr. Khon Mirzaei, the deputy minister and the head of the Iran Fisheries Organization, referred to the problems in the Chavibdeh in the Abadan County and considered the presence of the representative of the Department of Environment on this site necessary. He mentioned issues such as gas supply at the Chavibdeh complex, selection of members for the board of directors in order to support the Iran Fisheries Organization from this complex, the need for cohesion of members at the complex and issuance of its official document. He stressed the need to address the issues raised and stated: We are working to increase the income of fishermen and their employment, and we are supporting the old fishermen and their unions so that they do not become unemployed in the future. Also, Dr. Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, stated: The issue of fishing and the increase in fishing licenses are among the issues that are mentioned in the law and are based on calculations. He added: We are a scientific institute that estimates marine resources. We also have good suggestions for Khuzestan province, one of which is about shrimp farming in the Chavibdeh, Abadan County. At the end of the meeting, it was decided: In order to follow up the approved resolutions and issues, a meeting will be held in the Khuzestan Department of Fisheries with the presence of the relevant people.
