During the visit of Dr. Hossein Hooshmand, the head of the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center, along with the head of the department of aquatic animal health and diseases, and Dr. Mina Ahangar Zadeh from the Veterinary Directorate General of Khuzestan province, a joint meeting was held on the subject of bilateral cooperation in the presence of Dr. Kenar Koohi, the general manager of the Veterinary Directorate General of the province. At the meeting, Dr. Kenar Koohi expressed the full readiness of the Veterinary Directorate General of Khuzestan province to communicate more with the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center and cooperate in joint projects. He also suggested that bilateral information be exchanged on the problems caused by aquatic diseases in the province. It is worth noting that at the invitation of the head of the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center in the near future, he and his colleagues will visit the research center and its ongoing activities.
