Dr. Keyvan Mohammadi, the head of the Gilan Management and Planning Organization, along with the deputy director of program and budget coordination of the Gilan Management and Planning Organization, deputy governor of civil engineering of the Fuman Governorate, the deputy director of aquaculture of the Gilan Department of Fisheries, the head of the Organization of Agriculture - Jahad - Fuman and the head of Fuman Department of Fisheries visited the Fuman aquaculture research station. Dr. Sayad Borani, the head of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, presented a report on the construction process as well as the research projects carried out and presented the short - term and long - term goals of the research institute in using the existing facilities and capabilities of this research station. While appreciating Dr. Mohammadi for allocating provincial funds by the Gilan Management and Planning Organization in the process of constructing the research station, he spoke about the predictions made in order to complete and improve the existing conditions. Dr. Mohammadi pointed out to the improvement of the conditions at the research station and said that we hope to see the results of the research carried out by the researchers of this station in the coming years and to expand the aquaculture among the people for the aquatic organisms that are available at the research center. He noted: Supporting projects that help ensure food security in the country is one of our national and provincial priorities. He pointed out that aquaculture is one of the unique features of the Gilan province. He pointed out that the Gilan province, in addition to having favorable environmental conditions, has specialized and experienced human resources in the field of fisheries and aquaculture. He added: The Gilan Management and Planning Organization is ready to support research that will lead to food production and reduce food imports. He pointed out that the Supreme Leader has named the Persian New Year 1399 as the year of “A Jump in Production” and said that the development of aquaculture at the research center can help achieve the jump in production and the policies of the resistance economy.
