Dr. Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, Dr. Hafezieh, the deputy director of research and technology, Dr. Borani, the head of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, Dr. Akbari Moghadam (the deputy director of civil engineering of the Gilan Governorate), Dr. Mohammadi, the head of the Management and Planning Organization of Gilan Province, Mr. Modaberi, the general manager of the Gilan Department of Fisheries, and Dr. Abaei, the general manager of the Gilan Ports and Maritime Administration, visited the farm site for cage fish farming in the Caspian Sea and the sturgeon farm site in the Kiashahr port area which belong to Jahad Nasr Kurdistan Company. During the visit, Dr. Bahmani, the director of the institute, explained the goals, programs and suggestions of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute regarding the strategies and necessities based on the knowledge of cage fish farming in Gilan province. It was also decided that next month, the institute will provide the necessary planning for the senior managers of the province to visit the farm site for cage fish farming in the south of the country. It was also agreed that a meeting on cage fish farming would be held by the end of this year, based on the active presence of the institute.
