The second coordination meeting on the conservation of natural reproduction of anadromous fish in the Khaleh Sara River (Talesh County) extension project was
held at the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute. At first, Mr. Safai, the deputy director of finance and support of theNational Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, welcomed the colleagues of the Gilan Department of Fisheries and commented on the importance of implementing this project. Then, Mr. Ilderm, the deputy director of capture fisheries and fishing ports of the Gilan Department of Fisheries, described the history of conservation of natural reproduction of anadromous fish in the rivers of Gilan province since 2014 and appreciated the scientific support of the research institute.Mr. Soltani, the head of the Talesh County Fisheries Department, also presented some points about the problems with the implementation of the conservation of natural reproduction of anadromous fish in the Khaleh Sara River (Talesh County) extension project.Mr. Moradi, the project executor in the province, thanked his colleagues for their efforts in the field of research and implementation in the field of conservation of natural reproduction of anadromous fish in previous years and explained the importance of implementing the extension project and its implementation plans. At the end, the members supported the implementation of the project and agreed to conduct a joint expert field visit with the representatives of all parties in the coming days on the Khaleh Sara River in order to determine the latest status of the river and project implementation needs.
