Coinciding with the International Day of Women and Girls in ScienceAnd with the aim of simplifying science for the general public, the first leading scientific discourse event (GAP): Ideas and experiences of women in science and technology, was organized by the National Research Institute for Science Policy (NRISP). The event was held at the Alzahra University with the presence of Dr. Vahid Ahmadi (the advisor to the minister and the head of the National Research Institute for Science Policy), Dr. Laya Joneidi (the legal adviser to the President), Dr. Akram Ghadimi (the deputy director of research and technology of the National Research Institute for Science Policy and the head of the UNESCO chair in science promotion), Dr. Mahnaz Mollanazari(the president of the Alzahra University), Dr. Zahir Sabagh Pour (the deputy director of international affairs of the Tehran Municipality), Dr. Khosh Kholgh Sima (the head of the Agriculture Biotechnology Research Institute of Iran (ABRII)) and a group of managers and ambassadors, dated 17 February 2020. In the first leading scientific discourse event of the UNESCO chair in science promotion, the leading women researchers presented their scientific and technological ideas and were honored.In the event, the experience and idea of Dr. Maryam Mirbakhsh, the academic
member of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, in science promotion with the title of "Acquiring the technical knowledge of native shrimp probiotic production" were gratefully appreciated with the donation of the Certificate of Appreciation by the UNESCO chair in science promotion.
