The farewell and introduction ceremony for the head of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute was held at the session hall of the institute with the presence of Dr. Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, and a number of provincial and institute officials, dated 5 February 2020.Dr. Valipour first presented a report on the activities carried out during his
tenure as the head of the institute. Then, Hojjat al - Islam Shams al-Din, the representative of the Supreme Leader and Imam Jom'a (the Imam of Friday Prayer) in Anzali, acknowledged the effective activities of the research institute in the fisheries areas of the province and appreciated his efforts during his tenure. Two pioneers of the institute spoke about the status of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute and the achievements of Dr. Valipour during his tenure as the head of the institute.Dr. Bahmani also lectured on the importance of long - term planning at the institute and changing strategies to improve food security and status of fisheries in the country. He appreciated Dr. Valipour's efforts and wished success to the new head of the institute. At the end of the ceremony, Dr. Valipour received the appreciation letter and Dr. Sayad Borani was appointed as the head of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute – Gilan by the decree of the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute.
