The technical knowledge of native shrimp probiotic production, which is the result of eight years of research at the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, was transferred to the Takgene Knowledge based Company as one of the five research achievements of the institute. After completing the five - year contract to sell the technical knowledge and mass production of Tak Cell probiotic, the development of native probiotic production technology and production of new products are on the agenda of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute. To accomplish this, a technology development agreement was signed between Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the Takgene Knowledge based Company. Dr. Bahmani noted at the meeting: Companies that are now thinking of developing their products, will succeed. The director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute added: Given that the first hackathon in the field of processing of aquatic products will be held from January 18 to January 22 in collaboration with the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the Iran University of Medical Sciences, there is a great opportunity for the Takgene Knowledge based Company to attend the eventand take advantage of the topics that will be raised. The managing director of the Takgene Knowledge based Company also said that the shrimp probiotic is literally knowledge based product and continued: Because the results of shrimp probiotic claims are found in reality, all consumers are satisfied with this product and fortunately the culture of its use has been institutionalized among farmers. It is noteworthy that the Takgene Knowledge based Company was established as the first probiotic producing industrial unit in 2005 with the aim of producing functional microorganisms in the food and biological products industries.
