The Ph.D. viva session was held in the auditorium of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute for Mr. Mehdi Asmani (admitted for fall 2014) who was the research - based Ph.D. student. The title of his dissertation was "Effect of source and type of raw and cooked carbohydrate on growth performance, feed utilization, body condition indices, carcass composition, amylase digestive enzyme activity and hepatic lipogenic enzymes of iridescent shark (Pangasianodon hypophthalmus)". The student completed his education in the field of fisheries sciences - aquaculture at the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center (Ahvaz). The doctoral thesis supervisors were Dr. Abolfazl Sepahdari and Dr. Mahmoud Hafezieh and the doctoral thesis co - supervisor was Dr. Shahram Dadgar. Members of the thesis examination committee were Dr. Morteza Alizadeh, Dr. Fariborz Ehteshami and Dr. Gholamreza Rafiei. The doctoral thesis received a high grade.
