The first workshop on familiarizing women with the necessities and opportunities of employment in the coastal region of Delvar City - Bushehr Province was organized by Ms. Fatemeh Mohseni Zadeh from the Shrimp Research Institute of Iran with the presence of the prefect, the head of the Islamic Azad University and a group of local women. The workshop was held at the session hall of the Delvar Cultural Center. The main focus of this workshop was on the employment situation of women, the contribution of fisheries to the security and economy of the local community, the introduction of aquaculture development programs and the need for awareness and participation of women especially in the coastal region of Delvar City.
