Thinking together meeting on shrimp farming research, education and extension efforts with emphasis on white spot disease prevention was held with the presence of the deputies, managers and senior experts from the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, the department for shrimp of the Iran Fisheries Organization, the office of aquatic health and diseases of the Iran Veterinary Organization, the Golestan Department of Fisheries, the Shrimp Research Institute of Iran and the Golestan Province Fisheries Stock Assessment Center, dated 12 January 2020. At the meeting, joint research and extension activities among the three organizations were discussed and technically reviewed and the executors presented their plans. It was decided that the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute in cooperation with the Iran Fisheries Organization (environmental sampling and completion of research questionnaires) and the Iran Veterinary Organization (biological sampling) should cooperate in the implementation of the projects reviewed at this meeting based on the minutes set up for collaborative partnerships.
