In order to achieve the highest educational, research and technological goals and to utilize the capacity to interact with universities as well as to realize the important role of specialized interdisciplinary science at the frontier of knowledge, a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed with the aim of enhancing the level of cooperation between the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the Iran University of Medical Sciences, dated 5 January 2020.The meeting was held with the presence of Dr. Kouhpayeh Zadeh, the president and chancellors as well as senior executives of the Iran University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Mahmoud Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, as well as the deputies and advisors of the institute. Both parties express their utmost efforts to establish sustainable cooperation and conduct joint technological research and joint technology collaboration to identify problems and meet existing needs and to create new opportunities in the fields of nanotechnology, tissue engineering, fisheries and aquaculture, investment and collaborating in holding scientific, technical, and specialized courses, congresses, conferences and events.It is worth mentioning that the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute has prioritized the policy of bilateral cooperation with scientific and academic centers, fisheries unions and organizations as well as private sector beneficiaries. The Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute will do its best to achieve the national macro goals that result in the improvement of the status of the beneficiaries.
