The provincial shrimp technical working group meeting was held with the presence of Mr. Shahli Bar, the general manager of the Department of Fisheries of the province, Dr. Hosseini, the head of the Chabahar Offshore Fisheries Research Center, Dr. Mirlashari, the head of the Veterinary Directorate General of Chabahar County, Mr. Jahan Thigh, the head of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Engineering Organization of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, experts and shrimp farmers at the Gwadar shrimp farming site. The issues raised by the shrimp farmers were discussed at the meeting. Necessary arrangements were made for dredging the water channels and supplying water for the shrimp farming ponds in phase 1 and supplying electricity for the shrimp farming ponds in phase 3.
