Beroe ovata
that were stuck to fishing nets were observed. In addition, the invasive
Mnemiopsis leidyi
was not observed in the samples.It is worth noting that sampling operations will be carried out on a continual basis in the proposed project of ecological monitoring of comb jellies on the southern coast of the Caspian Sea.
