The journalism and photography course was held at the session hall of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute to raise the awareness of public relations officials of the research institutes and research centers. The participants got acquainted with the most important issues of news writing and photography.The main topics discussed in this training workshop were how to write the news, how to find the subject, key elements of the news, news values, how to write the headline, how to frame a photo and adjust depth of field, adjust the camera aperture and camera shutter. It is noteworthy that the course instructor, Mr. Jamshid Mohammadi, cited examples of headline, lead, text and title as well as some practical points in the field of journalism.
