The meeting of the aquaculture extension working group on the comprehensive project of natural reproduction of marine fish was held in the conference room of the Inland Waters Aquatic Stocks Research Center with the presence of the head and experts of the research center, the deputies and fisheries experts of the Golestan Department of Fisheries and the head of the center for rebuilding resources of Caspian roach in Sijaval. Various topics were discussed at the meeting including conducting follow-up by the Inland Waters Aquatic Stocks Research Center and the Golestan Department of Fisheries to provide the necessary funding to support the natural reproduction of marine fish, holding cultural and educational meetings at different levels of schools and for local residents to implement the project,holding joint justification and training sessions with the Fishermens Union to outline and benefit the implementation of the project to rebuild the resources of Caspian roach and increase fishing for fishermen, conducting regular justification sessions with the governor and the prefect on the implementation of the project to improve the production, increase fishing for fishermen and improve the economic and livelihood status of the fishing community in the region, identifying and evaluating areas for better implementation of the project and providing broodstock for the implantation of the project. At the end of the meeting, it was decided that experts should be appointed by the parties to follow up on the approvals of the meetings for better execution of the project this year.
