In the course of the visits and meetings of director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the accompanying delegation during the trip to Chabahar, he and his companionsvisited the shrimp farming sites in Gwadar, facilities of fishery ports, Beris and Pasabandar as well as coastal habitats of eastern Chabahar area.Dr. Taghavi (the consultant), Dr. Hossein Zadeh (the deputy director of fisheries and aquacultureextension and transfer of research findings) and Dr. Oufi (the head of the department of ecology of the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea) from the institute's headquarters, as well as Dr. Hosseini (the head of the Chabahar Offshore Fisheries Research Center), Mr. Rajab Pour (the financial and administrative deputy director of the Chabahar Offshore Fisheries Research Center) and Dr. Ajdari (the expert from the department of aquaculture of the Chabahar Offshore Fisheries Research Center) attended the visit. The Martyr Sanaati shrimp farming sites in Gwadar were visited by the presence of Dr. Nasiri (the deputy director of aquaculture of the Chabahar Department of Fisheries). The Gwadar Aquatics Development Center hosted a meeting focused on joint research, training and extension collaborations.Implementation of the joint programs for comprehensive management of shrimp farming with emphasis on gathering and recording information, establishing a model site to produce shrimp twice a year and conducting the joint research and extension projects through the joint working group of the Chabahar Department of Fisheries and the Chabahar Offshore Fisheries Research Center were the main topics discussed during the meeting and initial agreement was made for follow - up and planning.
