In the joint meeting chaired by the Iran Veterinary Organization and the accompanying delegation, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute pointed to the grounds provided for further cooperation between the two organizations, and mentioned:At present, given the common areas of work between the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the Iran Veterinary Organization, work can be accelerated and procedures can be made to make the most of the available resources.Dr. Mahmoud Bahmani said the Iran Veterinary Organization has always recorded valuable activities to control diseases, especially in the fisheries sector. He added:The Iran Veterinary Organization is now in charge of implementing the macro project of Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) rainbow trout production at the rainbow trout selective breeding centers and this is a very important issue, the output of which is the result of the research projects of the institute's researchers in the production of the brood fish and eyed eggs with high - health. The director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute said: According to statistics, turnover of private sector producers of various aquatic species in the country reaches about 8 trillion tomans a year. If we calculate 10% losses for it, the amount of damages will play a significant role in reducing the economic profit of the beneficiaries. So as much as we can bring this economic loss to zero by investigating and preventing epidemic disease, the aquaculture sector will boom and this year's motto, embellished with the name
of production boom, will become more practical. The head of the Iran Veterinary Organization also mentioned the need to pass administrative behaviors and move towards jihadist behaviors, and added: Sanctions are the best time for agile executives to adapt to emerging issues, as opportunities must be seized and exploited to the best of their abilities.Dr. Rafiei Pour said: Even the minister of the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad insists that if the pursuit of other executive organizations fails, pursue the matter through the ministry. That is why today we must act in a way that we did not do under normal circumstances. According to him, one of the priorities of the Ministry of Agriculture Jihad in fisheries is to farm fish in the cage, but we are still dependent on foreign countries to supply the juvenile fish. This is an issue that can be resolved in
collaboration with the Iran Veterinary Organization, the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the Iran Fisheries Organization, provided that collaboration between organizations is continuous and sustainable. During the meeting, Dr. Ghajari, the general manager of the office of health and management of aquatic diseases of the Iran Veterinary Organization, also presented a summary of the guidelines prepared for rainbow trout, shrimp and Artemia, and said:The guidelines were developed in collaboration with researchers from the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and researchers have played a major role in their preparation. He emphasized: Since almost all activities of the Iran Veterinary Organization are carried out in a scientific context, space is available for collaboration with the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and its scientific potential can be used to further the goals.Dr. Ghajari announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Iran Veterinary Organization and the Agricultural
Research Education and Extension Organization to implement the educational packages for shrimp white spot syndrome. He added: Various programs and guidelines are being developed for different fisheries sectors that experts from the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute assist us in their preparation.Dr. Mohammadian and Dr. Moghaddas from the Iran Veterinary Organization and Dr. Hossein Zadeh, Dr. Mortezaei, Dr. Zorrieh Zahra, Dr. Kakolaki and Dr. Sepahdari from the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute attended the meeting.
