The fourth meeting of the selected certified expert working group was held at the session hall of the institute in the presence of the director, deputies and managers of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute on Monday, dated 26 August 2019.Dr. Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, welcomed the audience and congratulated the Iran government week. He emphasized the need to commercialize achievements under the laws and with regard to the intellectual property value of technologies and their impact on the fisheries sector. Then, Dr. Hossein Zadeh, the deputy director of fisheries and aquaculture extension and transfer of research findings, gave a briefing on the certified expert working group and the bylaws related to technology valuation and how to transfer technology to the private sector. The members of the working group discussed the valuation, the intellectual property value of technologies, the method of assignment and the duration of the assignment of two cases of technical knowledge of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute (production of fish snacks and production of male monosex tilapia). Eventually, the transfer of two cases of technical knowledge to the private sector was approved after legal procedures.
