Dr. Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, along with officials of the Caspian Sea Ecology Research Center visited the Caspian Sea Fisheries and Ecology Research Station – Kheyrud and closely examined the station's problems and issues. At the beginning of the meeting, the colleagues referred to their tasks and cooperation in various projects. Then, the head of the research center emphasized that the Kheyrud Station has been a strong arm of the Caspian Sea Ecology Research Center for marine and river studies in the west of Mazandaran province and will be used in future plans as a support site for fish farming in cages and the creation of a live gene bank for aquatic organisms. Finally, Dr. Bahmani emphasized the need to develop short- and long-term programs aimed at enhancing the station's dynamics, collaborating with other research centers and universities in conducting research projects and organizing workshops.
