Dr. Bahmani, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, accompanied by Dr. Seyed Mortezaei, the deputy director of research and technology, and Dr. Yazdan Moradi, the deputy director of support and administrative affairs of the institute, visited the Caspian Sea Ecology Research Center.Dr. Nasrollah Zadeh, the head of the Caspian Sea Ecology Research Center, welcomed them and provided a brief explanation of the progress of research activities of the center. The colleagues present at the meeting introduced themselves one by one and expressed their suggestions and problems in the context of their tasks. Then, Dr. Bahmani responded to the points of view and emphasized that we need to have performance-based budgeting to move projects forward better and we should not lose our convergence and synergy. At the end, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute visited various parts of the Caspian Sea Ecology Research Center and offered valuable suggestions for better implementation of research projects.
