On Saturday evening, July 6, Dr. Mohammad Pourkazemi gave the presidency of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute to Dr. Mahmoud Bahmani and wished him success.Hojatoleslam Valmoslemin Saeidian congratulated the week of dignity. He considered the managers' attention to the Hadith of the Imams in relation to management as one of the most fundamental principles of the guidance of an institution and added: Everyone who attaches to this thread, God bless him in the world and the hereafter.He also congratulated the old and new director of the institute and for both of them wished for health and victory.Dr. Mohammad Pourkazemi provided a detailed report on the performance of his presidency.He mentioned that the development of research fleet, plan for the production of rainbow trout broodstock with high-health, selective breeding of shrimp and carp, planning for the introduction of new fish species for cage fish farming, production of probiotics for shrimp aquaculture, increasing the number of academic members at the research centers and research
institutes, obtaining the agreement for two research institutes, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, production of value added products from algae and dozens of other projects were among the priorities of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute for the past few years.Dr. Bahmani, the new director of the institute, praised tireless efforts of Dr. Pourkazemi and said: The most important strength at the institute is the use of collective wisdom and the help of scholars who have valuable experiences. So, with each other's cooperation and support, we should make further progress in this field. He gratefully acknowledged the tireless efforts of Dr. Pourkazemi.The deputy minister and head of the Agricultural Research Education and Extension Organization also thanked the efforts of Dr. Pourkazemi and emphasized the need for the stability of the current policies of the institute and the continuation of the plans, and said: Now the leadership is in the hands of another scientist. can also make the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute more successful.According to Dr. Kazem Khavazi, given the many potential like brackish water found in different parts of the country, the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute can establish new initiatives that will ultimately lead to an increase in the employment of young people in Iran.He believes that Dr. Pourkazemi will leave his office with a brilliant record and good name.The ceremony was attended by Dr. Khavazi, Hojatoleslam Valmoslemin Saeidian, Dr. Bahmani, Dr. Pourkazemi, Dr. Kakulaki, Dr. Eshaghi, Dr. Khosh Kholgh Sima and a group of deputies of the Agricultural Research Education and Extension Organization.
