In the course of further cooperation between the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the Wageningen University & Research, researchers from the Wageningen University & Research arrived in the country on Sunday, June 9, 2019, to visit Iran for a few days and to hold a workshop. Dr. Qhayedi, the head of the Shahid Motahari Genetics and Breeding Research Center of Coldwater Fish –Yasuj, and Mr. Falah, the Manager of the Fars Department of Fisheries, introduced the existing fisheries opportunities in the region in the hotel where the Dutch delegation place of residence. They visited Mr. Amin Azadi's rainbow trout breeding and rearing farms in the city of Nourabad, Mamasani County. Then, they visited Mr. Abudi's sturgeon farm near the Sepidan County. Both farms were interesting by the Dutch researchers. Following on their journey, the Dutch team of experts went to Yazd to visit the National Research Centre ofSaline-waterAquatics Bafgh(Yazd).
