Based on the study conducted by experts from the department of biology and stock assessment of the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center- Khuzestan and considering the spawning season of Pampus argenteus in the Persian Gulf, fishing for Pampus argenteus is prohibited in the waters of Khuzestan and Bushehr province from June 8 to July 22, 2019.
