A total of 2500 juvenile common carp (selected from Tata strain) were caught in the presence of experts of the department of biotechnology at the Shulam -Fuman production and reproduction of aquatics research station in order to implement the selective breeding program of common carp at the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute (Bandar-e Anzali). After biometry of fish, they were released in the ponds and the period of pre-broodstock development began.
