Following the successful launch of the day of the transfer of research findings in December last year, the Farm Day was held along with the aquaculture extension project of "Marine juvenile production and cultivation in concrete ponds for introduction into marine cages" at the Zarrin Meigoo Nasr Company, Bandar-e Emam Khomeyni. This project has been implemented with the participation of the private sector and the deputy of fisheries and aquaculture extension and transfer of research findings of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center, the Khuzestan Department of Fisheries, the Mahshahr Department of Fisheries, the management of the agricultural extension Organization of Khuzestan Province and the management of the Organization of Agriculture- Jahad of Mahshahr City. At the beginning of the ceremony, Dr. Houshmand, the deputy director of research, technology and transfer of research findings of the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center, highlighted the importance of implementing the project and thanked Mr. Najaf Abadi, the executor of project, Dr. Ahangar Zadeh, the head of the fisheries and aquaculture extension department and other colleagues at the Imam Khomeini marine fish research station as well as the private partner in the project. Then, Mr. Najaf Abadi and Mr. Dasht Bozorg, the managing director of the Zarrin Meigoo Nasr Company, talked about the implementation process of the project. In the following, the methods for preparation of broodstock, marine fish reproduction, fish larval aquaculture and reproduction and production of live foods were presented in practical form by the experts of the extension project. Brochures were also given to the participants, titled Sobaity seabream (Sparidentex hasta) reproduction, mass production of rotifers, intensive Nannochloropsis oculata culture and biological safety in marine aquaculture.
