After the first phase of Artemia and phytoplankton biomass sampling and measurement of the physical and chemical parameters of the Meighan wetland water in March 2019, the second phase of sampling was carried out from 18 wetland stations in late April 2019 under the supervision of the Department of Environment of Markazi Province in cooperation with the management of the Department of Fisheries of the province. In this study, the status of biomass and resources of Artemia in the Meighan wetland will be investigated in order to implement the management of sustainable exploitation principles. The wetland is located 17 kilometers northeast of Arak County. The average salinity and temperature of the wetland is 75 grams per liter and 17 °C, respectively. The Meighan wetland of Arak is one of the in which sustainable production of Artemia cyst and its biomass can be made by systematic planning. Currently, salinity of the wetland water has decreased to 20 grams per liter due to rainfall.
