The seminar "The achievements of the expert of the research center from the trip to Hungary in line with the national program for selective breeding of carp" was held in the meeting room by Mr. Sayed Abdul Sahib Mortazavi Zadeh with the presence of the head, deputy directors, heads of specialized departments and units and experts of the South of Iran Aquaculture Research Center, experts from the Khuzestan Department of Fisheries and invited aquaculturists. In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding between the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and the Research Institute for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Irrigation (HAKI), the Iranian experts visited the Research Institute for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Irrigation (HAKI) in order to get acquainted with the method of work and transfer of relevant technical knowledge. The report on visiting various farms, reproduction centers of the research centers and universities in Hungary was presented at the seminar. The topics discussed at this seminar include the relationship between the Research Institute for Fisheries, Aquaculture and Irrigation (HAKI) and the private sector and how they communicate and participate, the production per unit area and production of fish in the conditions of the Hungarian climate and the possibility of localization of fish farming systems, the possibility of transfer of new strains and intensive and closed system aquaculture. At the end of the seminar, questions were asked about the progress of the work and future plans for the selective breeding program by the attendees which were answered by Mr. Mortazavi Zadeh and colleagues of the research center.
