Dr. Waldan, the general manager of technology and commercialization affairs of the Agricultural Research Education and Extension Organization, and his companions visited the capabilities and potentials of the National Fish Processing Research Center in order to exploit them for the development of related extension activities. A meeting was held in the meeting room with the presence of Dr. Hossein Zadeh, the deputy director of fisheries and aquaculture extension and transfer of research findings of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute and his companions, some activists of the private sectors involved in the development of production and consumption of aquatics and the head and researchers of the research center in order to plan the exploitation of existing potentials. Several topics and suggestions were presented by the participants at the meeting. It was decided to use the capabilities of private sector in the form of collaborations and joint extension contracts to produce and supply of various processed aquatic products which are the result of various research activities of the center over the past years.
