The first specialized meeting was held with the presence of the head of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute, the financial and administrative deputy director of the institute, the head of the aquatic products processingresearch departmentof aquatic products processing and the experts. At first, Dr. Valipour congratulated the arrival of the New Year and explained the policies and research objectives of the department in detail. He highlighted the need to update production and research facilities with an emphasis on the private sector in implementing the extension - research projects and the aquaculture development projects. He then described the scientific-specialized interactions with academic centers and universities inside and outside the country. In the following, Dr. Valipour emphasized the provision of equipment and chemicals and the updating of laboratory methods. The meeting ended with a summary of the comments and the corrective and scientific suggestions from the head of the department and colleagues.
