Celebrating the product of the promotional plan for increasing the consumption of sardines through the production of market friendly products was held. The ceremony was held in two parts including lecture and introduction and distribution of the product. First, Dr. Mortazavi, the head of the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea Ecological Research Institute, made some points about the position of sardines in the community food basket, the high nutritional value of these fish, the importance of creating added value and the process of producing sardine products, the prospects and policies of the executive sector and the importance of the private sector investments in order to use the fisheries potential of the province. At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Karim Zadeh, the executor of the project, was appreciated for the achievements of the project. The products presented at the ceremony included: smoked sardines, salted sardines and dried sardines with flavors of pepper, Persian shallot and Bandari. At the end, the consumer feedback has been recorded on the quality of the products to improve the process of production in the next steps.
