The scientific speech with the title of "Impact of Research on Fisheries" was presented by Dr. Roodabeh Rufchaei at the conference hall of the National Inland Water Aquaculture Institute in the gathering of researchers, officials and experts of the Gilan Department of Fisheries. In this study, focusing on the FAO indicators to achieve sustainable aquaculture and the non-oil gross domestic product, first, the success factors of Vietnam from Asia and Norway from Europe were investigated and compared. Then, the results of the field study of the survey on the impact of research on the country's fisheries were expressed from three statistical societies (University-Fisheries-Research). According to the Scimago Institution Ranking, Iran ranked first in the field of science production and publication of articles in the Middle East and 20 in the world in 2017. The design of research projects along with the executive and fisheries sectors and the concentration of human resources and financial resources on a few limited priorities have been proposed to increase the effectiveness.
