In line with the priority projects of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, the second stage of sampling from the depths of 5, 10 and 30 meters of the southern coasts of the Caspian Sea related to the Astara, Anzali, Sefid Rud, Tonekabon, Nowshahr, Babolsar, Amir Abad and Bandar Torkaman transects was performed given the weather conditions of the sea from February 6 to February 23 of this year by the experts of the institute (Mr. Ahmad Nejad, Mr. Nasrollah Tabar, Mr. Kayhan Sani and Mr. Rajabi). Sampling of biological parameters (phytoplankton, zooplankton, comb jelly and macrobenthos), non-biological parameters (physical and chemical parameters of water) and contaminants (petroleum pollution, metal elements, chlorine toxins, detergent) and microbial contamination were carried out.
