The viva voce session was held by the executor of the plan, Dr. Pourkazemi, for the plan "Genetic evaluation of rainbow trout for the production of Specific Pathogen Free (SPF) fish in the country" in the presence of the examination committee at the session hall of the institute. The members of the examination committeewere from the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, various universities and headquarters of the institute. The executors of the four projects of the mentioned plan defended their findings. The project "Evaluation of the Genome to Identify the Top Schools of Rainbow Trout" by Dr. Pourkazemi, the project "Freezing and Long-term Storage of Sperms from Farmed Rainbow Trout Brooders and the Creation of a Sperm Bank" by Dr. Noviri, the project "Evaluation of Genetic Diversity and Kinship Relationships of Pre-brooder Rainbow Trout Using Molecular Methods" by Dr. Lashgari and the project "Selectivity of Schools of Pre-brooder Rainbow Trout and Introducing Top Families Using Genetic Indicators of Growth" by Dr. Nazari were presented. The projects were discussed by the members of the examination committee and the participants at the meeting.
