The first specialized meeting of the working group on fisheries and aquaculture extension and transfer of findings was held in the meeting room with the presence of Dr. Hosseini, the head of the Chabahar Offshore Fisheries Research Center and the chairman of the working group, Mr. Hosseini, the fisheries and aquaculture extension official of the Department of Fisheries, Mr. Totazehi, the connector of fisheries and aquaculture extension of the Organization of Agriculture- Jahad of Chabahar, Mr. Afzalzai, the connector of fisheries and aquaculture extension of the Organization of Agriculture- Jahad of Konarak, experts, directors of research departments and other members of the working group. Dr. Hosseini welcomed the participants and announced the readiness of the research center, experts and researchers to carry out the fisheries and aquaculture extension activities and transfer of findings for the sustainable development and exploitation of aquatic resources in the field of capture fisheries and increased production of aquaculture products in the Sistan and Baluchestan Province. Each member of the working group provided comments on the problems and strategies of training and fisheries and aquaculture extension to the exploiters. It was decided that at the next meeting, the training courses on fishing by hook and an appropriate strategy for their implementation would be evaluated.
