On the occasion of the National Science and Technology Week and at the first research bell meeting by the Department of Environment, Dr. Fereydoun Oufi, the academic member of the institute, presented his speech on the "Ecosystem conditions and the results of the emergency plan for the rescue of the Gulf of Gorgan and Miankaleh Lagoon". The ceremony, which was planned by the office of research and development of environmental technologies of the Department of Environment, was held at the international conference hall of the organization. Dr. Kalantari, the head of the Department of Environment, deputy directors, managers and experts of the headquarters and affiliated provincial departments with the organization, Dr. Pourkazemi, the director of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, and Dr. Pourang, the head of the ecological and water resources division of the Iranian Fisheries Science and Research Institute, as well as a large group of students, experts of companies Consulting engineers and NGOs and interested scholars attended the meeting. Dr. Fereydoun Oufi addressed the environmental considerations and assessment of the vulnerability of the Gulf of Gorgan ecosystem and the wetland and river habitats around it. He presented the challenges and solutions for managing and protecting the Gulf of Gorgan and Miankaleh Lagoon based on ecological models.
